The PR Report Awards are organized by specialist publication PR Report. 377 applications were received, making the competition one of the largest for corporate communications. A panel of 25 judges comprising renowned experts from agencies and service providers was responsible for choosing the best communication achievements of last year in 21 categories.
Reliability, innovation and openness
In marking its 250-year anniversary, MAN communicated reliability, innovation and openness. This included the Company’s past during the National Socialist period. It was especially important in communication of MAN's anniversary that all aspects of history be presented in order to provide a balanced, academic picture for publication. Berlin historian Professor Johannes B?r and Dusseldorf-based communications agency Hering Schuppener both supported MAN in its efforts.
MAN’s anniversary reached a total circulation of around 10 million copies in the German print media.
